I am a Clinical Psychologist with a decade of experience working with individuals, couples, families, adolescents, and children across a wide range of medical, psychiatric, neurological, and rehabilitation settings. My approach is collaborative and holistic.

My professional journey has allowed me to work in inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care, neurological and spinal rehabilitation, general medical hospitals, community health settings, and private practice. Through this diversity, I have learned that healing is never one-dimensional — it is emotional, relational, physical, and deeply human.

I work from an integrative and holistic perspective, combining evidence-based psychological approaches with a deep respect for each person’s story, strengths, relationships, and context. I believe psychology is not only about reducing symptoms, but about supporting people in building meaningful, resilient, and connected lives.

Her Master’s research focused on trauma, coping, social support, and psychological functioning. Ongoing professional development includes training in DBT, BWRT, neuropsychology, brain-based and polyvagal-informed approaches including pointer and hypnosis work, expressive therapies, ethics, and integrative psychotherapy.

Marianne is a registered Clinical (1989) and Counselling (1990) Psychologist with more than 35 years of experience working across a broad range of psychological settings. She is passionate about helping individuals overcome challenges, develop resilience, and reach their full potential through compassionate, evidence-based care.

Throughout her career, Marianne has worked with children, adolescents, adults, families, and older adults in both private practice and multidisciplinary healthcare settings. Her experience includes psychotherapy, trauma intervention, forensic assessments, career guidance, group therapy, psychiatric care, and psychological evaluations.

In addition to her clinical work, Marianne has lectured and supervised psychology students at various tertiary institutions, including the University of Johannesburg and professional psychology training institutes. She is passionate about mentoring the next generation of psychologists and contributing to the growth of the profession.

Marianne values collaboration, lifelong learning, and a holistic approach to mental health. She believes in creating a safe, supportive therapeutic environment where clients can explore difficulties, build new skills, and achieve meaningful personal growth.

She currently offers psychological services in Mpumalanga (Hendrina, Ermelo, Bethal and Middelburg) and Gauteng, including therapy, psychological assessments, and forensic evaluations.
